The EAR Compliance Sign is chemical resistant, high temperature resistant up to 168F and have an outdoor life expected at 10 years or more.

This EAR Compliance Sign is used at many commercial facilities in the United States and are very necessary to warn visitors that the company is committed to EAR Compliance and in controlling access to its buildings and operations.  It should be posted at all public entrances including buildings, gates and walkways directing visitors to go tot he front office to sign in and be screened against Denied Parties and other U.S. Government Watch Lists.  The sign has two holes which make it easy to mount using conventional bolts or screws into whatever surface is available.

The Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are a set of regulations found at 15 C.F.R. § 730 et seq. They are administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security, which is part of the US Commerce Department. In general, the EAR govern whether a person may export a thing from the U.S., reexport the thing from a foreign country, or transfer a thing from one person to another in a foreign country. The EAR apply to physical things (sometimes referred to as “commodities”) as well as technology and software.
